Spokespeople for SAP explained that the company is investing in the future of commerce and customer engagement, helping to enable businesses to deliver relevant, contextual and consistent experiences for customers across all of “their digitally-enabled interactions”. Representatives of the two companies plan to combine the agile, omni-channel commerce solutions of hybris with robust enterprise technology and industry leading in-memory, cloud and mobile innovations from SAP to help facilitate new levels of customer insight and engagement.
One member of SAP top management noted that “”¦hybris will deliver the next-generation customer experience for businesses and consumers in a world where digital and physical converge seamlessly.” Another high-ranking SAP executive said “With the addition of the hybris commerce platform, we intend to help enterprises achieve unprecedented intimacy with customers in real time and across all devices, delivery channels and touch points.”
